Natural Gas Utility Consulting Services

Services that we provide to our Natural Gas Utility Clients include the following:

Supply Planning including design of highly reliable, reasonable cost supply/service portfolio consistent with the objectives of the client.
Preparation of short term and long term gas supply plans for internal purposes and state regulatory commission purposes.
Supply and Service bid solicitation
Supply Contract negotiation, emphasizing that:
- The transaction reflects the client's objectives;
- The transaction is delivered by the supplier;
- The transaction is backed by a financially viable supplier;
- The transaction is backed by a supplier that has a history of living up to its end of the transaction;
- The contract protects the interest of the client, is fair to the client and accurately reflects the negotiated transaction.
Long haul transportation and/or storage service negotiation, emphasizing that:
- The portfolio of services obtained meets the requirements of the client;
- The client obtains service at market competitive prices consistent with the client's service alternatives;
- The client maintains reliability of service consistent with its needs.
Working with the client to maximize the introduction of competition and competitive service alternatives if the client's access to competitively priced supply and services is limited.
Designing fixed price, price cap, price collar or other futures or options based structured transactions that meet the pricing objectives of the client.
Providing expert witness testimony before state and federal regulatory bodies.
